Peru was a great photographic trip. I traveled alone, which allowed more space for photography. I focused much more on a Street or Snapshot style. This was made possible by using a highly portable mirrorless camera and a 35mm equivalent lens (17/2.8). While I brought a "pro" SLR, I found it mostly sat in the bag. By shedding the pounds of gear, I felt many barriers to shooting were lifted. Mirrorless photography for me is not a "trade-off" of quality, but rather liberation from the limitations of "full-size" photography. I will never look back!
